Review of Quinceañera (2006) by Chris S — 26 May 2008
It is a film with a simple story and lovable characters. Both Magdalena and Carlos are thrown out by their parents, one for getting pregnant and one for being a rebellious homosexual. Both find acceptance and shelter in their great uncle's home.
The pacing is fine enough. The acting is not that great but no one can help but feel sympathy and care towards the three main characters especially towards the great uncle.
