Review of Quills (2000) by Jessica O — 29 Jul 2008
Even though I watched this for Joaquin Phoenix (who does seem like he's challenged some of the time), I came out of it with a slight crush on Geoffrey Rush. I think it was the wig. He is spectacularly insatiable as the Marquis.
It's a whole lot of dirty, in all the ways possible, nasty (see former) and sex-filled fun (see former-former) with a depressing spiral at the end. Just the way I like them.
