Review of Quills (2000) by Tim G — 07 Nov 2008
It's a rather sensationalized telling of the life of the Marquis de Sade, but it's gruesomely entertaining. The cast is terrific, Geoffrey Rush brings out all the uninhibited quirks of Sade, Kate Winslet is lovely as the curious confidante, Joaquin Phoenix is charming and Michael Caine makes quite a villain.
