Review of Quills (2000) by Chris K — 12 Apr 2009
A novelic tale of art and such. The film is very well performed with an all star cast of A+ actors and actresses but that and the script is were the beauty stops. This has a highly interesting story but it is not well told enough for me to totally emerse myself in.
Sade is not in enough of the film and Michale Caine's character is too illogical. Despite these glaring flaws I was able to enjoy this film about a particularly inspiring individual.
