A truly great Western set in the Australian outback. Tom Selleck gives an outstanding performance as a wild west American sharpshooter who is hired under false pretenses by a ruthless and vengeful Australian land baron played wonderfully by Alan Rickman.
Laura San Giacomo plays the cute but crazy and totally out of place American prostitute who falls for Selleck and joins his cause. One of the greatest endings ever for a Western. Definitely worth the rental.
