Review of Quiet City (2007) by Cli O — 12 Dec 2008
This flick has a really unusual feel that I just found myself responding to.
The naturalisitc dialogue (random conversations and arkward silences) and some really beautiful shots of New York made this really watchable and the burgeoning relationship between Jamie and Charlie was nice to follow.
This is one of those films that you will either get or not. Nothing grand happens and it's more about the feelings that it evokes. Erin Fisher is very sweet, she provides the film with it's centre and is very likeable.
Nice ending too.....
