Review of Quick Change (1990) by Andrew H — 31 May 2010
QUICK CHANGE.
A light-hearted movie that is quite a silly story. It's about an ingenious bank heist, involving a ludicrous ruse, complete with a well-executed getaway that is, well, not so straightforward in the making. The plot is full of twists and surprises, and there is even a bit of romance thrown in. The film keeps you guessing right up to the last minute whether or not the crooks will indeed be able to abscond to freedom with their stolen cash. A grand chase sequence required precise comic timing to pull off successfully. But about whom are we talking here anyway? Bill Murray, Geena Davis, and Randy Quaid were all fun and games.
