Review of Quest for Fire (1981) by Jeff B — 31 May 2007
It was a great piece of work. Extremely impressive, great action, I loved every moment of it. The story was simple yet so well told, I can only imagine would it would be like today in Hollywood, they'd insist on adding English dialogue and that would ruin much of the joy this film offers.
And something tells me Ron Perlman is the real Encino Man, I think the casting director found his frozen caveman body, restored him, and taught him to be a regular human. I don't think they put any makeup on Ron Perlman, that's just what he looks like.
Anyway, amazing movie, a lot of fun to watch.
