When a small tribe is displaced by another - violently - they run for their lives and carry with them their source of fire. but while fleeing the flame bearer falls in some water which douses the flame. therefore 3 men go on their quest for fire.
Not a single line of dialogue and yet it tells story about humanity. a really good imaging of early human history.
