My favorite Fassbinder film, based on my favorite Jean Genet story, with Jeanne Moreau singing a song based on an Oscar Wilde poem, promoted by a poster from Andy Warhol. Beautiful story of man on man sexuality, love, betrayal, manipulation and intense introspection.
This ain't no "Brokeback Mountain"! It's something much, much more.
