They mixed the second and third book but didn't get it right. It's good for what it is, but don't watch it if you're looking for something that holds true to the book. It has redeamable features.
Stuart Townsend looks dishy and Aaliyah is good + it was the last movie she did before she died, so I have a soft spot for it.
