Review of Queen of the Amazons (1947) by Kevin M. W — 17 Jun 2018

Someone has noted that half of this film comes from stock jungle footage and it's true, I saw a lot of this already in several jungle films of the era. The rest looks as if done in somebody's living room with a "jungle" makeover.

The story is so inane as to be laughable: a ship goes down in a storm leaving only woman survivors and (instead of leaving) they become the Amazons of the title. Is there a half finished jar of peanut butter for you in the kitchen, cause it'll go down easier than this.
