Review of Queen Mimi (2016) by M M — 03 Aug 2018

I loved watching this documentary. It's one of those films that make you think, but not too hard - just sit back and enjoy the entertainment. I think one doesn't have to wonder further than the liquor bottle to know why she ended up on the streets, but I do understand how that can happen as I have a sister-in-law that did the exact same thing.

We have no idea if she's alive or dead to this day and she NEVER reaches out to find out if her daughter is alive, dead or whatever. Mimi's obviously an alcoholic that either can't or chooses not to become sober.

I see this was filmed a couple of years ago and wonder where she is now; still alive; etc.
