Review of Queen Christina (1934) by Jareth S — 03 Nov 2010
The great Greta Garbo stars as the 17th century Swedish in one of her best and most iconic roles. Garbo's Queen Christina is plagued by an impending marriage of political expedience, and escapes her life by donning men's clothes, and subsequently falls in love with a Spanish ambassador.
If you want to see early Hollywood magic, Garbo is your go-to girl.
