Review of Quartet (2012) by Matt T — 01 Jan 2013
Thoroughly enjoyable movie about old Opera singers... no, really! Dustin Hoffman directs a fantastic cast of actors and musicians alike. Brilliant acting, well placed comedic moments and brilliant music. Billy Connolly actually steals the show, with great support from Maggie Smith, Tom Courtenay, Pauline Collins and Michael Gambon who appears to still be in costume from Harry Potter....
Aimed at an older audience, but younger people who appreciate music, and light comedy, will enjoy.
