Review of Quartet (2012) by Sophie . — 08 Feb 2013
Just a gorgeous movie- not to be missed. Performances were excellent. Maggie Smith and TomCourtenay were outstanding. I've heard and read some describing it as a cliche. Predictable. Slow. What movie did they see?!? Note: I also enjoyed "A Late Quartet," which was edgier and even a little dark.
You must see Quartet, if only to celebrate life. And yes, popcorn, too!
