Review of Quartet (2012) by Rafal K — 10 Aug 2013
In last years I've been getting more and more inclined to the British cinema and this is yet another reason why - tough topics like disfunctionality of elderly people sent away to pension houses and forgotten stories of tragic love coming back to daylight, served very lightly with a gentle doze of British humour.
And Maggie Smith, fabuluous as always, is the brightest shining star of this film and makes is it worth watching just for the sake of her performance.
