Review of Quartet (2012) by Irene M — 29 Dec 2013
Rather slow. Can't believe it was based on a play. Billy Connolly's Scottish Brogue was the best thing about it. Maggie Smith had to play it 'straight' and was an unsympathetic character.
Turns out they used a whole bunch of actual opera performers and musicians as extras, which one learns from watching the credits.
