Review of Quarantine 2: Terminal (2011) by The D — 01 Sep 2011
Dire follow up to the American remake of the orignal first Rec movie. This is not a remake of Rec 2.
From the events of the first movie the original creator of the virus that cause bloody mayhem at an LA apartment tries to move on via a plane trip out of the city. Carrying what he claims to be hamsters which are actually his lab rats he hopes to make a quiet getaway. Naturally this doesnt go to plan when one of the passengers becomes infected and one by one & bite by bite the passengers fall victim to the virus as the plane returns to the terminal.
This is so poor & it's not even cheesy. The acting, if you can call it that, is souless as the people just irritate you to death before they eventually croak themselves. The odd reference to the orignal apartment is your only reminder from the first film & even that is really crow barred in.
There isn't even that much blood or gore & none of the attack scenes are particlarly frenetic or frequent.
All in all this really is not worth 90 minutes of anybody's time.
