Review of Quantum of Solace (2008) by Troy F — 09 Nov 2012
Quantum Of Solace fucking blows! It's very disappointing followup to the brilliant Casino Royale. Extremely cutty action sequences ruin the fun and even the plot is absurdly bad with a bland villain, a useless forgettable Bond girl, and even M appears totally useless here.
All I could do is blatantly laugh at the film for being so bad! Probably the worst in the Bond series for me. I know that seems harsh given that the series has had it's lesser films like Moonraker or A View To A Kill, but at least those had some redeeming moments.
Quantum Of Solace left me bored, rarely can I say there were great moments. Daniel Craig did his job and he was still alright. There may have been a good line here or two, an alright scene here and there, but it's a challenging film to sit through even as the shortest film in the series!
