Review of Quantum of Solace (2008) by Ed C — 11 Dec 2012
This is not a Bond film. I've seen all 22 Bond films and this movie is missing so many elements it seems. The entire movie is all revenge, revenge. I dont think I even saw Bond smile once. I saw a few seconds of him kissing the red head but other than that, he didn't make love to any women in this film.
He was serious the entire time. The movie is filled with a bunch of forgettable characters and villains. Nothing memorable at all. I felt like I was watching a Jason Bourne movie. The best part of this movie and one big positive is the ending they FINALLY showed the gun barrell shot, Casino Royale did it in a unique way.
But I was so relieved at the end that I saw it, it gave me some hope for the next film.
