Review of Quantum of Solace (2008) by Ryan S — 13 Jul 2013

I enjoyed this movie. I think D. Craig is an awesome Bond, certainly the most badass. He could easily crush any other Bond, which is saying something. While this wasn't as good as the first movie, it really completed what it set out to do. It's a revenge flick, which means you need the context behind it... If you hadn't watched Casino Royale in a year, then you might feel somewhat disconnected to Bond character, and just view him as a thug.

The opening action sequence, followed by the fight scene shown in all the previews was REALLY badass. Also, Olga is ridiculously hot.

Note: Girl suffocated by painting her entirely gold (Goldfinger) > girl being drowned and covered in Oil. (Quantum).

Both still very cool ways to send a message...
