Watchable movie. Daniel Craig is the Jason Bourne version of James Bond. Craig's character gets across as a fast action and cold hearted assassin. Craig's Bond does not have the humor of Pierce Bronson's and/or Roger Moore's Bond.
Personally, I find the James Bond character without humor creates a flat Bond movie. The Solace script is fast paced with a strong supporting cast. The bad guys are intelligent, highly educated and ice cold.
The match up between Bond and his antagonist made for a cliffhanger ending. I give Quantum of Solace three and a half stars.
