It was always going to be hard following up 'Casino Royale'. It's major flaw for me is a good villain. Mathieu Amalric is a good actor but throughout the film you forgot that a Bond villain was at play.
Mathieu Amalric is a good actor but Greene came across as a glorified henchman. The main tune got panned on release. I generally find Alicia Keys to be GBH to the ears but her and Jack White's 'Another Way to die' alright by me.
The Bond babes are text book, a double twitch off Kurylenko (does have the same shade as an Oompa Loompa though) and Arterton. Nice homage to 'Goldfinger ' in the hotel room. The action is solid and it does clear things up and sets things up promisingly for Craigs next outing as 007.
