Review of Quantum of Solace (2008) by Ben G — 22 Nov 2015

I think this film was always going to be at a disadvantage, following as it did from the the fantastic Casino Royale. However, I think it has been judged rather unfairly. Sure, there are plot holes (name one Bond film that doesn't) and script problems (again.

..) but overall, it delivers much of what Bond movies are meant to, and thankfully chooses to leave out some of the tropes and cliches that have made Bond a joke in the past. In my opinion, this is a much better effort than the disappointing and overly-long 'Spectre'.
