Review of Quantum of Solace (2008) by Ben N — 21 Feb 2015

I didn't think it was as bad as some others did, but it definitely is not as good as its predecessor. Daniel Craig and Giancarlo Giannini carry this film, but its action is just not quite there and the plot just tries to be too heady and obscure.

Olga Kurylenko's character is meaningless, Bond doesn't really like her and she doesn't help the story. The new director is good at some emotional scenes, such as the one on the aircraft when Bond is drinking, but the rest of the film doesn't match up.
