Review of Quantum of Solace (2008) by K S — 14 Feb 2017
Quantum of Solace was a high paced adventure, filled to the brim with explosions, gunfights, chases and good old fashioned James Bond lines. This movie is necessary to see if the audience wants key information regarding other Daniel Craig/James Bond movies.
The show overall was choppy, hard to follow and somewhat mediocre. It seemed like they needed just one or two scenes to help the plot for the other movies, and just tried to throw a whole other story around it which just collapsed. That being said if you're looking for a common action movie that won't involve any brainpower whatsoever, this is recommended.
The acting was good, they did their best to make this a good movie. The dialogue was fine, doing an alright job of tying these characters together but it wasn't a strong relationship. Scene to scene I was confused on what was going on. The movie seemed like a collage of running from place to place, fighting random bad guys, and getting revenge on irrelevant characters. The plot (as indecisive as it was) lacked depth and character.
