Review of Quadrophenia (1979) by Matthew S — 17 Dec 2008
This is a film comprised primarily of subplots, most of which never resolve. In fact, the little resolution there is is pretty ambiguous. It would seem that the point of the film was to show the main character's descent into insanity, but it's poorly paced.
It depicts Mods and Rockers as two barbaric subcultures that wantonly beat the crap out of each other. The music was good, though.
