Review of Quadrophenia (1979) by David B — 19 Dec 2008
Ray Winston of Sexy Beast, Phil Daniels of Park Life and Sting of being a tosser show you how life of the 60s with mods v rockers really was, with their showdown at Brighton and the consequences. The Brighton scenes are excellent but it overshadows the rest which is generally under-scripted, under-acted dated TV movie.
a quote on the cover says "without this there would be no Trainspotting." Well without Archaea there wouldn't be homosapiens but i'll socialise with the later, sorry mate. A classic? maybe, may bad for not caring.
