A hilarious 80s b-movie that you can't help but enjoy. David Carradine AND Shaft, in a movie with Harryhausen stop-motion effects? You can't really go wrong. That being said, the final act feels a bit rushed, and there are a few things that come completely out of nowhere.
But none of them hurt the movie at all, and I left the theatre smiling. Yes, I saw this on the big screen.
