Review of Q: The Winged Serpent (1982) by Jeff B — 15 Feb 2011
Very strange movie starring David Carradine and Richard Roundtree as cops in New York who are trying to solve the mystery of the people dying in New York City. Of course the obvious explanation is a giant dragon/bird god that's eating everyone and has a nest at the top of one of the skyscrapers.
It's sounds much better than it actually is, I wished we got to see the monster more than we did and the finale is pretty unsatisfying. I don't mind that the monster is laughably fake, after all the budget is pretty small and it is the early 80s, but they could have at least tried to have more action involving it and the characters.
Whatever though, at least it was trying something a little new.
