If you have never seen any of Larry Cohens movies ,then you really are missing out on something special.
This one plays like a B movie king kong but hey who is Moaning when you get Great acting from Michael Moriarty ,Richard Roundtree andDavid Carradine.
Add to this Cohens delcious script (no pun Intended) and you get a great fun and sometimes scary Monster movie.
Sure the special effects are a touch tragic but that only adds to the fun .
And the use of New York Locations ,Most Notably the Chyrsler Building make this film a cult gem.
