Review of Q (1982) by Jonathan A — 07 May 2013
One of the weirdest monster on the loose movies ever made. Q plays like an oddball character study of a flaky loser of a getaway driver (Michael Moriarty, in a strangely endearing performance) that, oh, just happens to feature a giant snake that flies around Manhattan biting people's heads off.
Featuring David Carradine NOT playing Kwai Chang Caine, it's also one of my favourite "angry New York" movies, right up there with After Hours and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three.
