An interesting setup but you quickly realize that the characters are bland and you're only hear for the scares (of which they are mostly of the jump variety). The found footage aspect is in and out most of the time. There is a reason why it's there but it could have easily been taken out.

And I don't think the writers know much about Egyptian Mythology.
