Very few indian films are worth watching. Pyaasa is the ultimate poet film, a poet's comment on soceity. One of my all time favourites. Guru Dutt was a contemporary of Satyajit Ray, and this is perhaps his finest film.
Waheeda Rehman is stunning. Included in the 100 best films ever by Time magazine.
