Review of Pyaar Impossible! (2010) by Niraj V — 11 Jan 2010
Utter tripe!! Every single cliche in the book has been used, and its nothing new or unexpected.
I can imagine the story and screenplay sessions where the producer and director must be going "wow!! What a great idea, yes lets do it this way".
The story doesn't really deserve much comment and the music is a bit lacklustre as well, nosong really standing out.
As far as performances go, Priyanka Chopra looks good and you'd think she was in some kind of fashion show, not the head of PR for a software company! At least she's easy on the eyes, thoda paisa vasool ho jaata hain!
Uday Chopra......well, when will this poor little soul realise that he wasn't made for the movies, not in front of the camera anyways!! He really needs to take stock of his career and stop pouring his father's money down the tubes. He overacts the geeky thing and is really miscast in the role of the geek who comes good at the end.
The icing on the cake, however, is the little girl who plays PC's daughter. She is pathetic. Irritating. Precocious. You get the picture!!!
So, just in case you haven't worked it out yet, proceed to watch this film at your own risk, you have been warned. If you do go, do not expect any sympathy or counselling from me afterwards!!!
