Review of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022) by Strike30 — 12 Feb 2023

OMG is this my favorite movie of 2022 (and I'm a film student!), this movie is full of so many charming characters, incredible animation and fantastic music.

To be completely honest, I haven't seen the first one but this just shows that anyone can go to a cinema or watch it online and have an amazing time. my personal favorite part are the characters, you would think that in a movie with 6 villains would feel crowded and overwhelming but it works phenomenally! each type of character is present in this film, there is the obvious hero with an interesting conflict on his own, the sidekick who has a backstory with the main character, the cute and charming yet funny companion, the villain that is evil just for the sake of it, the villain with a touching story and an incredibly threatening villain that has a personal problem with the main character and yet I am never sad whenever we cut to a different character since all of them are so good!

I really really hope this film does good in ratings and earnings because it sure does deserve it.

I wanted to rate this a 9.6 but I talked myself to like it even more so its a 9.8 to me, I wish I made people understand the impact of this film.
