For a sequel to a Shrek spinoff movie, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is pretty damn good. The aesthetics and overall style exhibited in this film makes it the best looking animated movie I have seen in years.
Complimenting the beautiful animation is an interesting plot, well written and acted characters, and really fluent and fun action sequences that are incredibly enjoyable to watch. Could this film signal a second coming Golden Age for DreamWorks? I sure hope so.
