Review of Pushover (1954) by Daniel W — 25 Apr 2008
Pretty average noir about Fred MacMurray falling for a criminal's girlfriend (played by Kim Novak) as she is under surveillance. The story of his partner falling for the woman in the apartment below Kim's works better, and there's even a character who is waiting on his pension as he works the stakeout.
Guess if he lives, and if he doesn't, guess who kills him. Everyone is good, but the story just isn't all that fantastic.
