Review of Pushing Tin (1999) by Chris M — 16 Sep 2007
Dreadful. The controllers are all unlikeable, macho bores (even the token woman). The tension and pressure is JUST A LOT OF SHOUTING AND PEOPPLE TALKING VERY FAST. And the plot is hugely predictable, even down to the "When harry Met Sally" final scene.
I give it 2 stars (one each) for Billy Bob Thornton - a breath of calm - and Cate Blanchett.
