Review of Pusher III (2005) by Hans J. E — 19 Oct 2010
Milo, the crime boss, from the first movie is a changed character. New young bloods are moving in and he suddenly ends up the weakest link in the chain. The turn around in his luck and his character is fascinating.
Like the other two it shows that there is no honour among thieves even when it comes to family. Not as strong as the first two movies but still very good quality cinema. Brave and uncompromising. As each story is seperate it would be nice to think that the seedy world that Refn has created does not have to be just a trilogy.
I would gladly watch three more! As a trilogy 5 stars simply because the quality holds up .... and the last ten minutes... holy shit!
