Review of Pusher II (2004) by Makro K — 07 Sep 2007
Whereas the first in the trilogy is a tale of the downfall of an emotionally disturbed man, the sequel continues the story of his stooge "Tonny" (again brilliantly portrayed by Mads Mikkelsen).
Pusher II surpasses the first in character development. It's a great achievement by Refn to build the character of Tonny into what seems like an improbable feat of moral and emotional awakening. You have to see this movie.
