Review of Pusher II (2004) by Matt B — 15 Jan 2009
I was skeptical going into "Pusher 2." I thought that the director, having reached success with the first "Pusher" would opt for a more mainstream style. I was wrong. "Pusher 2" surpasses its predecessor in every aspect.
It keeps the gritty, realistic style, but focus on the character of Tonny this time. Mads Mikkelsen gives the performance of a lifetime, portraying psychosis and emotional torment at the same time.
