Review of Pusher II (2004) by Chris A — 25 Sep 2011
Second part in his devastating copenhagen-based trilogy/trawl through the fractured lives of the local drugs scene, this is scorsese's mean streets re-invented for c21st europe: mads mikkelsen out-deNiro's everybody as the tattooed skinhead searching for his father's approval whilst wrestling with his own paternal responsibilities.
..the second act car snatch prequels the director's success with Drive in its nocturnal neon city landscapes...visceral, stunning, memorable.
