As an avid Prince fan I say that this movie is good...for an 80's movie. It reflects the eclectic rhythm and sounds of that time combined with a glimpse into Prince's past and how he possibly grew up.
This man practically taught himself how to play several instruments with no formal instruction. He's definately made his mark as an icon in the music industry. He has my respect as an artist and I love his music.
