Sexist, self indulgent and very wooden. The music (well some of it anyway) is it's only saving grace. I reckon about 45 minutes of the film is just singing and a further 30 minutes is Prince riding his motorised chopper bike.
which leaves about 20 minutes acting, which really tells you everything you need to know.
