Brilliant music and considering only two stars of the film, (The Kid's parents) were professional actors, it came out very well.
The Academy Award/Oscar received for the soundtrack was well deserved, the music is outstanding, especially the powerful title song.
A throughly entertaining film.
A landmark in history. Cementing Prince's musical genius.
