Review of Pure Luck (1991) by Stefán Birgir S — 23 May 2010
Martin Short isn't my brand of comedian. He's moreless that younger neighbor kid who's so damn annoying, although you could just kick his ass, you know it's wiser not to. He would just come around more and more because you made an attempt (in his mind) to pay attention somehow/someway to him.
Martin Short also sees himself as very funny, which itself is annoying when somebody's self-esteem is higher than it should be. This movie begins funny, but ends dully and an unamusingly repetitive array of jokes and ways for Short to hurt himself become boring.
