Review of Pure (2002) by Miss Annur . — 03 Jun 2007
I saw this about two years ago, and it has stayed with me ever since. Pure tells the hard truth about drugs. It is a gritty tale about a family being torn about by drugs. Paul is ten years old, and his mother is hooked on heroine.
So are many other people around him, including Keira Knightley in one of her first good roles. "Pure" is another good drug movie that will put your emotions to the test. Knightley fans please note that she is not the main character.
Great peformances from Molly Parker, Keira Knightley and, most notably, Harry Eden as Paul. A must see movie, Terribly underrated.
