Review of Puppetmaster (1989) by Jason D — 15 Feb 2008
The film that started it all (and the one to make Full Moon a more familiar production company). After Andre Toulon kicks the bucket, some psychics come to his place to figure out the Secrets of Life that he possessed.
What they don't know is he used it to bring his psychotic, murderous puppets to life. Soon, people start dying thanks to some of the greatest puppet monsters ever including Blade, Pinhead, and Leech Woman.
Call me crazy, but I always had a soft spot for this franchise and while they may have taken a turn towards sucking, I still enjoy most of them. Full Moon movies were always great low budget fare!
